Vinification

This pinot gris was harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve fruit purity and varietal character. After a cool, long fermentation, the wine was aged on fine yeast lees for 8 weeks to allow the natural texture of the wine to develop.

Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, 10 September 2018
Bright, light straw-yellow, near colourless on the rim. The nose is light and fresh with restrained aromas of white and yellow stone fruits with a subtle amalgam of florals, honey and mineral, unfolding pear elements. Medium-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is bright and aromatic with fragrant flavours of white and yellow stone fruits, lifted pear fruit and florals. This unveils suggestions of honeysuckle and minerals. The fruit forms a fine, tight core and line and carries to a ripe, slippery, aromatic finish. This is a fresh, bright and fragrant medium-dry Pinot Gris with stone fruit, pear and floral flavours on a fresh, firm palate. Serve with Asian cuisine over the next 3 years. 17.5/20 Points

Medium straw-yellow colour with golden tints. The bouquet has guava, pawpaw tropical notes, and the palate carries contrasting sweetness and acidity. The palate is light, grapy and juicy, the sweetness enhancing the fruit flavours quite effectively.

From Two Rivers, this instantly appealing, freshly scented wine is mouthfilling (13% alc/vol), with good depth of pear, peach and spice flavours. Dryish and lively. 3.5 Stars
