Strong purple-red hue still in play; a substantial and complex medium- to full-bodied wine, fusing blackberry, plum and spice in its core, then wrapping a thin sheath of dark chocolate and oak around that core.
Winemaker Notes
It's thick with syrupy, tarry, toasty flavour. It has a sweetness and a savouriness - and a bright burst of Pez-like, candied fruit at its core. Warm, brandied fruit takes it out. Grapey tannin.
