Gourmet Traveller Wine, March 2018
Packed with beautiful dark cherry and berry fruits as well as deep set perfume. The palate is plush and dense; fluid and mouth-filling, a powerful tannin core and flavours running to blackberry and plum before a velvety finish.

A wine of freshness, crisp tannin, clarity/purity, deliciousness. Light and sinewy in style, red fruited but savoury, a touch ashy, offering dusty-clovey spice, gently sweet but frisky with amaro-like acidity. It’s such a lovely drink, skinny, but imbued with a tension and vitality that draws you in. Dolcetto doesn’t get much better.
