Te Muna Road vineyard has a pretty dramatic outlook and the Craggy Range viticulture team seem to favour it, or at least give it a little extra TLC. Perhaps their dress circle address, in some respects.
It's neatly balanced as a gris, some richness, some slipperiness and concentration, but also a refreshment and cut of acidity that helps you repeat offend on the wine. Smells of pear, stone fruits, candied apples. Taste almost like Turkish Delight but lighter, and with a gentle slick of texture that drags flavours long. Nice drinking.

Wow. This smells stunning. Deep and tangy, with pear, pear-skin, and kumquats. So deep and pure. And it delivers on the tongue too: positively coats it. Gris as it should be: gorgeous.
