This exceptional pinot noir is testament to Escarpment and New Zealand, proving just why the country has achieved such a great winemaking reputation globally. It has a full perfume of rich, dark berry and cherry fruits with subtle notes of liquorice, tar and minerals. Concentrated ripe cherry, luscious red berry, herbs and savoury flavours hit the tastebuds with the perfect amount of acid and super fine tannin to balance out the sweet fruit. This pinot can be enjoyed now, especially combined with grilled lamb fillets. It also has great cellaring potential. 10+ years.
