Produced from one of the “Top 100 Wineries in the World” this Giant Steps Chardonnay is seen as the king of white varieties. The very stylish number from Phil Sexton and his team is long and textured on the palate with a clean crisp finish.

The Wine Front, April 2016
Part of the new Yarra Valley range out of Giant Steps… This is right in the slot. It’s lean and long, mostly, with grapefruit and citrus rind character drilling through to the flourish of the finish. Fuzzy peach and spiced wood characters are fringe players at most. It’s a highly disciplined chardonnay. It needs a year or two in bottle.

Winemaker Notes

The Yarra Valley range is made from handpicked fruit from all of our estate vineyards. The wines are produced using indigenous yeasts, gravity-flow winemaking, and minimal fining and filtration. This approach produces highly expressive wines, true to the regional characteristics of the Yarra Valley.
