Palate
The palate is focused and textured, with white peach, lemon crème, papaya, fresh pineapple and mandarine dominating. Lees derived savoury notes of roast pistachio and cashew with toasted brioche, great acidity and good length round make this a mouth-filling, rich Chardonnay.

The Real Review, 31 March, 2019
Bright, light to mid-yellow colour with a stylish, grapefruit, citrus and stony mineral bouquet. It opens with a touch of sweetness as well as mineral, crushed-flint rock, borderline electrical fire characteristics. It finishes with tangy acidity. But it has fruit to match and is, in sum, an appealing chardonnay.

Winestate Wine of the Year Awards Annual Edition 2019
Attractive honeyed notes to the nectarine/citrus nose. A nicely textured light bodied palate with juicy fruit flavours, some creamy complex notes and crisp acidity. 4.5 stars.

The Real Review, 15 April, 2019
A powerful chardonnay with a full-fruited palate and nutty sulfides. Decanting is recommended to harmonise the elements. The wine has great intensity and personality.

Halliday Wine Companion, 01 November 2018
Fermented and matured for 8 months in
French oak (30% new). An altogether elegant
wine, employing just the right amount of new
oak; pink grapefruit and white peach occupy
the same amount of ground, with no sign of
yielding to the other. The oak is well handled,
the length good.
