It’s fiesta time! This Spanish gem is impressive and stylish. Vibrant strawberry and floral aromas introduce a palate full of apple and red berry fruit and savoury notes. It’s clean and mouth-wateringly dry. Think Turkish delight and you’re in the ballpark. Enjoy while young and fresh with a platter of antipasti.

The nose is typically powerful, with hints of musk, red apples, watermelon and raspberry.

Palate

All of these characters flow through onto the palate, which is crisp, even and refreshing, with our signature ripple of tannin from judicious skin contact prior to pressing. Fine, dry, fragrant, and beautifully varietal.

First made in '07. Very interesting aromas of spice, red cherry and watermelon; while the finish is dry, there's abundant fruit flavour on the journey, texture and structure giving the wine attitude, and the ability to stare down any dish you care to throw at it.

On the newly fashionable pale side, teasingly fragrant, somewhere between red apple skins and lavender talc, with those highlights also entering the tasting moment as well with vibrant fruit and tangy acidity. It’s lip-smackingly delicious with plenty of personality to match up to wilder flavours of Thai and Vietnamese salads, and if you’re keen for something a bit bolder, try its companion red 2015 Tempranillo.

Winemaker Notes

Apart from working with more growers, and learning how their vines behave, we have changed our approach very little over several seasons. For that reason we have again produced a deliciously fresh and distinctive, bone--dry rosé.
