With Fiano being a relatively new variety to Australia (originates from the Campagna region of Italy) who better than the Oliver family now celebrating over 170 years of grape growing, to create this Taranga farm favourite. This delicious drop is all sweet ripe lime and pear flavours with loads of texture – perfect for lovers of fresh crisp white wines. As Gary Walsh said “dangerously easy to drink”.

A tangy and stoney fiano with crushed-stone and apple character. Medium body. Integrated and bright. Drink now.

This minimal intervention fiano was made with native yeasts and saw no oak treatment. Aromas of freshly cut lime, chestnut and wet river stone lead to a bright, refreshing palate with cashew nut texture.

The mother vines for this wine hail from Cantine Bruno in the Avellino region of Campania in southern Italy. Three months on the lees in stainless steel give a buoyant, balanced Fiano that shows plenty of lime leaf and a long lemony tang. Drinking Window 2019 - 2023.

A strong Fiano game played here by Oliver's Taranga. Great to see them back on the dais after a stumble in 2017. Corrina Wright showing her worthy Fiano Queen status. A delicious and textural ride. Curvaceous with oodles of pleasure showing lime juice and lemon rind mingling happily with licks of canned pear juice. Soft touches of cashews make a welcomed appearance plus fine cinnamon and star anise to close. You'd be forgiven for sitting on a glass for a while - a good wine to evoke thought and discussion. The width and breadth on offer certainly aid that. Great stuff. Drink now to three years so the freshness can reign supreme.
