Beautiful medium-bodied Great Southern shiraz with a vibrant lively palate mix of red berry and spices. Sits beautifully in the mouth with its slightly peppery characters and subtle black cherry and satsuma plums. The oak is underplayed and lets the fruit strut its stuff.

Sourced entirely from Mount Barker, and used three small 1-tonne open fermenters, all with wild yeast, one with 100% whole bunches, one with 20% and the remainder crushed and destemmed, the third with 100% whole berries, 12 months in new and used puncheons. It is as vibrant and fresh as expected, with spiced red berries on the bouquet and palate alike, ranging from raspberry to red cherry, the tannins fine and spicy.
