Snake and Herring have the golden
touch with chardonnay at different
prices. More delicate, less oaky and
more creamy lees-driven than the
Corduroy. It has great balance and
charm, and drinks beautifully now.

From Margaret River and Pemberton. On the one hand it's fresh and racy, all citrus and florals; on the other it's fleshy and textured, its runs of white peach and juicy pear flavours softened and preened with creamy, spicy oak. It drinks like a charm. (Campbell Mattinson)

Put this one on your shopping list. It’s tip top for value, and therefore for quality. It’s a racy style of chardonnay with excellent freshness and length, yet it also boasts plenty of fleshy flavour and texture; it scores runs all around the ground. Citrus, florals, white peach and assorted creamy, spicy characters. It works a treat.

There’s plenty to love about this
West Aussie that’s nowhere near
tough. It’s full of varietal truths,
beginning with a spicy stone fruit
and lime leaf nose, then packing
great flavour as you taste, balancing
ripe fruits in reflection of those
aromas, with just enough underlying
tang to hold this terrific wine
together. It’s “Corduroy” sibling
chardonnay shows more oak
and intensity, if you’re looking for it.
