Displaying true regional character and showcasing the best that the Barossa has to offer. Lemon and lime citrus blossom, structure and flesh for miles and a pinpoint and piercing clarity of fruit from top to toe. A lovely mouthfeel that is balanced with bracingly fresh natural acids makes this a great bottle of Riesling, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Vinification

Harvest was carried out at night. The fruit was pressed (using an airbag press) within an hour of harvest. Care was taken not to lose the delicate Riesling aromas and flavour precursors in the juice. After settling, the juice was warmed and inoculated with a neutral yeast selected for its ability to respect the purity of Riesling.

Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, 22 October 2018
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, pale edged. The nose is very fresh and intense with penetrating and deep aromas of pure lime and lemonade fruit along with subtle white florals and a suggestion of saline, unfolding mouthwatering herb and mineral nuances. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has intense and penetrating flavours of limes and lemons and white florals. The fruit has richness and lusciousness, balanced by fine acid cut, and the wine flows with excellent energy along a zesty, refreshing line with very fine textures, leading to a long, lingering finish. This is a beautifully penetrating and intense dry Riesling with luscious lime and lemon flavours with white florals and minerals on a mouthwatering palate. Match with Thai, Vietnamese or Japanese fare over the next 4 years. 18.5/20 Points
