56% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 4% cabernet franc, matured in French oak for 9 months. That all reads well, and the wine drinks well. Brambly, forest berry aromas take charge, with some cedary oak and Provencale herb characters in the background. Dense in flavour but not heavy, dark fruit runs through the palate with a measured tug of tannin pulling through the finish. (Steven Creber)
