Red cherry, raspberry, perfume and spice. It’s medium-bodied, juicy red fruits, a little liquorice and new leather, fine fleshy tannin, bright acidity, a delicate kind of succulence, you might say. Finish is long and neatly packed with fine silty tannin. There’s not exactly many bargains to be had when it comes to Barolo, so let’s just call this one ‘competitively priced’. It’s very good.
