Tasting Note
AromaGreen limes and lemons with subtle floral and talc notes. The Boy is more austere and restrained than The Wolf from Clare Valley.

PalateVery fine lemon notes with tight minerality that drives through the palate. The wine finishes long and refreshing with fine sherbet flavours and balanced acidity.

VinificationAfter a slow yet even ripening period, the fruit was handpicked with great flavour and amazing natural acidity and low pH. The fruit was gently pressed and only the free run was fermented in stainless steel. This wine was then fined, filtered and bottled shortly after vintage.

The grapes come from 98-year-old vines high in the Eden Valley; the virtual absence of any colour suggests whole bunch pressing and free-run juice, talismans for the future of the wine; it is so perfectly balanced it will likely be drunk well before it reaches adulthood. Drink By: 2032
