Roast beef with pan juices, scrub herb and lavender, blackcurrant, blackberry, pepper. It’s medium-bodied, bloody and meaty, soft tannin, slightly bitter chocolate stuff, not so well defined, and indeed, while it smells very good, it loses its way a little from there on in. Still, deeply savoury and regional, which is no bad thing.
