The good thing about this wine is that it’s clearly in the pinot gris (rather than grigio) style, while not getting too carried away with itself. It’s not hedonistic but it does tend towards richness. A subtle flair, to put it wryly. Pear, crisp red apples, spice, even rosewater. The finish is almost chalky, and certainly textural. It’s a decent wine.
